Rules of Engagement

These are the rules that govern how we work with every client. They exist because good work requires clarity on both sides.

What we commit to

We will measure your current position before making any recommendation. We will report accurately every month, including when results are not moving in the right direction. We will tell you if we believe the strategy needs to change. We will be reachable. We will not apply work from one client's engagement to another's without permission.

What we ask of you

Access to the platforms and data we need to do the work: Search Console, Analytics, CMS access where required. Timely feedback on deliverables, because delays on your side create delays in results. Honest information about your business, competitors and previous agency relationships. A single point of contact who has the authority to approve work.

What we will not do

We will not use tactics that create short-term visibility at the expense of long-term authority. We will not fabricate case studies or cite results we did not produce. We will not continue an engagement where we no longer believe we can produce results. We will tell you directly and recommend a path forward. We will not take on work outside our capability to please a prospect.

On timelines and guarantees

Search and AI citation results take time. Technical fixes can show impact within weeks. Content and citation-building programs typically show meaningful movement in 60 to 90 days and compound from there. No one can guarantee specific rankings or citation rates. Algorithm behavior is outside any agency's control. Anyone who tells you otherwise is telling you what you want to hear.

Starting an engagement

Every engagement begins with a citation audit. We do not start work without a written agreement signed by both parties. We invoice monthly in advance for retainer work.
